Apartments – University of Copenhagen

Apartments reserved for staff

In general apartment buildings in the city center date back one or two hundred years; while many have been renovated to fit modern standards, bedrooms, kitchens and bathrooms are often very small yet equipped with all necessary facilities. You may find that these facilities differ from what you are used to from home or other places you have lived.

The University of Copenhagen Housing Foundation has access to a few two or three-room apartments. If you are coming to Copenhagen accompanied by someone who is not affiliated with the University spouse, partner or friend - this might be the right option for you.

To get an idea of the options we offer, please clik on the specific residence. The apartments vary in size and type, so make sure to read the descriptions carefully.

Is A Flat the Right Housing Choice for Me?

Flats offer you privacy - but some may feel a little isolated as there will be no one around to talk to about how things work or to share international issues with.

Also, flats are pricier than the options where you share some facilities.  If the price range for the flats is above your limit, you might want to consider a studio-apartment. In 2 residence halls we have studios that are furnished for two people: Nordre Fasanvej Kollegiet and Østerbro Kollegiet. This way you will still have a small private kitchen and a private bathroom, just not so much space.

See details on Nordre Fasanvej Kollegiet and Østerbro Kollegiet.

Please make sure you book a room intended for 2 people (with 2 beds) if you are arriving with a spouse. See more here.
