Groups eligible for housing

Our goal is to assist with accommodation to all international students and staff coming to University of Copenhagen. As our housing stock grows during the next couple of years we will invite new groups to use our service.

Danish citizenship

It is mandatory to inform us if you have a Danish citizenship, in which case we cannot assist you with housing, unless we have many vacancies.

This also applies in case you have a non-Danish citizenship, but a permanent residency in Denmark.

Have you previously lived in one of our residences?

It is mandatory to inform us if you have previously benefitted from housing services connected to the University of Copenhagen – especially if you have entered into the previous contracts under different names, email addresses or other ‘alias’. We can only help each person for up to 12 months - this rule also applies if you are a PhD student or other researcher who initially was helped with housing as a student.
